CLOTHED / UNCLOTHED (E-Book)

CLOTHED / UNCLOTHED is not a fashion book.

It’s not a self-help guide.

It’s not a queer manifesto — though it is deeply queer.

Its a radical, intimate, unapologetic book about bodies, clothing, shame, desire, and freedom — in the Indian context.

This is a sharp, honest, emotionally intelligent exploration of how clothing became morality, why skin is treated like evidence, and how bodies — especially women’s and queer bodies — are policed, judged, and disciplined through fabric.

Written in Sunaina Prajakt’s unmistakable voice — clear, bold, reflective, and quietly confrontational — this book dismantles the myths around modesty, respectability, attention, shame, and visibility without shouting slogans or selling empowerment clichés.

CLOTHED / UNCLOTHED is my most personal and deliberate work to date. I wrote this book slowly, without trying to impress or provoke. It comes from years of being watched, judged, misunderstood, and quietly resisting the idea that clothing equals character.
